He was released back into the wild yesterday. He weighed a ridiculous 27 pounds (12.2kg) at the time of his capture. That’s roughly the size of a 3-year-old child. yowza What a lump of Lobster! Hope he’s scuttling happily around.  As someone who enjoys a good lobster, I’m glad he’s back in the ocean.  He’s a big dude, and to big for my belly. that’s not a lobster that’s a noble steed HE IS MINEI will name ‘em Pinchy, and they will be my new friend. c: We will go on pinching adventures together, and pinch all of the things!

The beast in the photo is Rocky, a 40-inch lobster that was caught in Maine. He was released back into the wild yesterday.

He weighed a ridiculous 27 pounds (12.2kg) at the time of his capture.

That’s roughly the size of a 3-year-old child.

As someone who enjoys a good lobster, I’m glad he’s back in the ocean.  He’s a big dude, and to big for my belly.
